Monetization Manager | Cat Daddy Games 2020 - 2025

PRICING AND ECONOMY
My primary duty at Cat Daddy was to manage the in-game economy which focused on a single currency - Coins. Users collected coins through regular play and could buy them in large bundles in the store. Most offers were priced in terms of coins, while others were priced as real-world in-App Purchases (IAPs).

FREE VS SPEND BALANCE
Being a Free-to-Play (F2P) product, while still needing to make revenue is a difficult balancing act. Thanks to the high quality of our basketball sim engine, we were able to create a core loop that was extremely compelling for all users.
The game's balance assumes a F2P User can complete ever challenge and get every reward for free. Spenders can either just earn the same rewards faster, or in a higher quality or quantity.

DAILY ROTATING CONTENT
Every day, there was something special going on in the game. It could be something small like a new Team Pack is on sale. Other times it would be a an entire new mode or feature!

Big or small, all of this Live content needed to be scheduled and coordinated on a day-by-day basis. Additionally, we needed these calendars to look back on when reviewing historical data.
